Windows enhancements
Folder View 
enhances the Windows file Explorer by making all folders you need available in a single click. It integrates with other applications, speeding up opening and saving of files and also lets you copy and move files very quickly. Known bug: On some systems, right-clicking causes Windows Explorer to crash. Just delete fvcontext.dll from the Folder View directory.
AllChars
AllChars provides a quick, easy-to-remember way of creating accents like é Ü ç î æ and special characters like ƒ ² ‰ © £ ± ß ° ½ ¿ « » ™ „ in most Windows programs. Unlike Character Map, it doesn't change the font! And it does macros as well.
FirstCap
Small program that warns if Caps Lock, Num Lock or the dreaded Insert key is "on". Considerable improvement over the limited feature built in to Windows accessibility features.
FolderBox
Displays additional folders in the lower part of Explorer, so you can see the contents of two folders at once. You can set up and configure up to five FolderBoxes on tabs. Free for use at home.
Examine Difference
Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP tool for visual file comparison with many valuable and easy-to-use features. Toggles between the first and second files. Automatically detects file changes and prompts the user to re-compare files. Drag and drop support. Easy editing of the first and second files.
Extended Character Map
Replacement for Windows Character Map that doubles as a font viewer. At last the characters are big enough to see. Alternative download location.
Agent Ransack
Agent Ransack is a tool for finding files and information on your hard drive fast and efficiently. It can be used as a replacement or a companion to the standard Windows Find. Agent Ransack provides both a basic interface, similar to Windows Find, and a more advanced interface (the default) for the 'Expert user'.
Info Rapid Search & Replace
A different approach to enhanced searches. Before you can search PDF files, you first have to copy the freeware program pdftotext.exe into the installation directory of InfoRapid Search & Replace.
Calc98
Want a calculator? This is the one. As easy or complex as you want. Includes functions for statistics, use of different number bases (binary, octal, hexadecimal and base-n), metric units conversions and physical properties and constants. It has financial functions including investment, loan and mortgage calculations. It also calculates time functions and has a stopwatch feature and RPN (Reverse Polish Notation). And it's NOT just for Win98!
ESBCalculator
Freeware Scientific Calculator for Win32 Platforms with Infix Notation, Brackets, Scientific Functions (Trigonometric, Hyperbolic, Logarithmic - including Base 10, Base 2 & Natural - plus more), Memory, Paper Trail, Result History List and more. Looks neat.
Time Clock Enhancement
Improves the standard Windows taskbar clock, adding the ability to display the date, time and lots of other information in any format you like.
Dimension4 Time Clock Synchronizer
Automatically synchronize your PC's clock to an atomic clock signal over the internet. Essential for top-priority assignments.
Restoration
Restore files which are deleted from the recycle bin or deleted while holding down the Shift key by mistake.
Conversely, this program has another function that makes it almost impossible to restore all deleted files.
You can use it after deletion of confidential documents, embarrassing files and so on.
