CDrun is an small skinnable Audio CD player for Windows. It doesn't use the huge amount of memory and CPU time. Uses FreeDB CD Database.
Musicmatch Jukebox
Labelled as 'Freedom for music lovers', Musicmatch is excellent player (if not slightly 'bloated') for cds and mp3s for those who wish to fully organise their collection. It will rip your cds to mp3, catalog all files, get cd info, burn your collections and can even tag mp3 tracks properly.
Note: Basic is free but registration required to unlock a lot of features.
Quintessential QCD Player
QCD has a fully skinnable interface. QCD's flexibility allows it to be as simple or as feature rich as you like. Supported audio formats include: MP3, CD Audio, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, VQF, MP+, Windows Media and streaming audio including SHOUTcast and ICEcast. It is a rival to WinAmp and broadly comparable to it. Zinf audio player
Formerly known as FreeAmp, but someone claimed Amp as a registered name. The Zinf audio player is a simple, but powerful audio player for Linux and Win32. It supports MP3, Ogg/Vorbis, WAV and Audio CD playback, SHOUTcast/Icecast HTTP streaming, RTP streaming, a powerful music browser, theme support and a download manager. Open Source. Uses MusicBrainz free CD Database.
CD rippers and players
CDex
CDex is an Open Source freeware application, which is able to extract (rip) audio tracks from a CD-ROM digitally, and save those files to disk as either regular WAV file or MP3 files. Also can be used as a player for CDs and MP3s. Uses and submits to FreeDB CD Database.

The DivX Player is the official player application for DivX video content (MPEG-4 based video compression) and is capable of playing every type of DivX file every created, even broken AVI files.
The DivX codec technology can shrink digital video to sizes small enough to be transported over the Internet, while maintaining high visual quality.
