A young asylum-seeker from the Ivory Coast, who had been in a UK detention centre with not much prospect of getting out, was released recently, for no obvious reason.

The Jesus Army is deliberate in offering support and care towards genuine asylum-seekers; Jesus Army members in London, where the young man has become a much loved member, had been praying fervently on his behalf.

Another young man, who had been trying for months to gain a visa to return to the London Jesus Army, has been allowed to return - against all the odds.

A member of the Jesus Army in London commented "We've been thankful for the miracles."
