“THE JESUS Army Training Year was one of the most challenging years of my life" says Steve Karma, 23, "a unique opportunity to grow in character."
The Jesus Army Training Year offers young people a unique opportunity to become trainees, staying in a Jesus Army house for up to a year being coached in living out full-on Christian faith and love.
"By sticking to the mJa Training Year, God has been able to get in and do something deep in me which He may not have been able to do otherwise" says Mary Davis, 21.
Some Jesus Army trainees have found the going tough, but all have found it rewarding.
"The toughest thing about Training Year was facing up to the reality of my own attitudes and reactions to people" says David Meakin, 23. "It was only once I began to open up every part of my life to other Christians that Jesus began to seriously get to grips with me."
