IN THE MIDDLE of August, in the middle of London, the modern Jesus army's youth took to the streets in an extravaganza of noise and colour.
Streetpaper asked one of their leaders, Laurence Cooper, 32, to explain what was going on. He said: "It's enthusiasm unlimited; the unchained heart. Young people who've found a new way of living and just want to tell the whole world!
It's the force of the living Spirit in us all that sings of Jesus. We don't want to protest, but to declare in the loudest, happiest, freest way possible that Jesus is alive today and that He rocks our world!"
The singing, dancing, grinning, waving crew revelled their way from Piccadilly via Soho to Leicester Square before spreading out to talk with anyone who wanted to know about the life-changing love of Jesus.
