TWO MEN owed money to a debt collector. One owed him £1,000, the other owed £100.

Neither of them was able to pay him back so he forgave both of them their debt. Out of the two who do you think will be the more grateful?

All forgiven

The answer, of course, is the one who had the bigger debt.

Jesus told this story because He was criticized for letting a prostitute care for Him. But what the critics didn't realize was that Jesus was simply willing to forget the woman's past and show her the acceptance she needed.

In the same way Jesus is willing to forgive everyone their wrongs no matter how big they are. But are we ready to be grateful and receive the love He offers? It's when we do so that He welcomes us into heaven. Check out the original in Luke 7:41-43
