“WE LOVE the Jesus Army", chanted the young people of Wolverhampton, running alongside us as we drove our Jesus Army coach away from Queen's Square in the City Centre at the end of our two day campaign. 'Well that sounds good', I thought, we must have made some real connection'.
We decided to have a Jesus march through the City Centre on the Saturday afternoon. There were about 40 of us singing and shouting or Jesus, unashamed to stand for Him. We came to the Civic Hall where all the Goths and other youngsters hang about on Saturday afternoons.
I was a bit fearful because during our last march some objects had come flying over towards us at this point, but this time it was different. They all decided to join in, singing and shouting for Jesus, marching back to the central square where our Jesus Army coach was situated.
The next couple of hours were really quite amazing with deep chats, praying for people and distributing our very popular red crosses. We love Wolverhampton.
